1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SENS-AI (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SENS-AI is a JSE intelligence workspace that provides AI-powered analysis, summaries, and insights based on publicly available SENS (Stock Exchange News Service) announcements. The Service includes features such as daily briefings, sentiment analysis, volume analysis, paper trading, and related tools.

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must not share your account with others or create multiple accounts
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• Account access may require admin approval; unapproved accounts are placed on a waitlist

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to extract data from the Service without permission
• Redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit the content or analysis provided by the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

6. Intellectual Property

The SENS-AI platform, including its design, code, AI models, and original content, is the property of SENS-AI. SENS announcement data is sourced from publicly available JSE disclosures. AI-generated analysis and summaries are produced by the Service and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.

7. Paper Trading

The paper trading feature uses simulated portfolios with no real money involved. Past performance in paper trading does not indicate future results with real investments. Paper trading results should not be used as the basis for real investment decisions.

8. Accuracy & AI Limitations

While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations. Sentiment scores, key points, and summaries are algorithmic interpretations and may not reflect the full context or intent of original announcements. All AI outputs are linked to their source announcements — always verify against the original SENS filing.

9. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable, uninterrupted access to the Service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SENS-AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or investment losses, arising from your use of the Service. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
