SENS-AI (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a JSE intelligence workspace that provides AI-powered analysis of SENS announcements. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.

Usage Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as pages visited, features used, and general interaction patterns. This helps us understand how the platform is used and improve the experience. No personal financial data is included in analytics.

Application Data

Data you create within the platform — such as watchlists, paper trading positions, and preferences — is stored to provide you with a personalised experience.

To analyse usage patterns and improve platform performance

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (built on PostgreSQL) with encryption at rest and in transit. Authentication is handled through Supabase Auth with industry-standard JWT tokens. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate SENS-AI:

Supabase — Database hosting and authentication
Google Authentication — Optional sign-in via Google OAuth
Firebase Analytics — Anonymous usage analytics
Cloudflare Pages — Application hosting and delivery

Your personal data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. No user data is sent to AI models or language models for processing.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage to persist your authentication session and theme preferences. Firebase Analytics may use cookies to distinguish unique users. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Withdraw consent for data processing at any time

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days. Anonymous analytics data may be retained in aggregate form.
